[clue-talk] questions wanted for VMware/ESX presentation

- VMware Server v2.x is slated for "end of life" come 30 June. So perhaps
VMware ESXi as an option on the server end (since it is technically
"freeware") with the differences from ESXi to ESX.
- If there is going to be a VMware Server v3 or similar, perhaps something
on that vs. ESXi and ESX as well.
- End user versions like VMware Workstation vs. VMware Player.

#1 is easily answered.
#2 is HIGHLY doubtful. Generally we tend to put most of our enterprise
class time into hypervisor grade stuff, anything that goes on within an OS
is usually confined to within what it considers to be a "desktop product"
 (player, workstation, fusion, etc...)
#3 is, as far I'm concerned, different products. I'm happy to leave WS to
Mike if he wants to cover that.

I don't think I can do much for the VMUG. For various reasons which I'd
prefer not to say on a public mailing list, I don't think it's a great idea
for me to be involved.
