Subject: Call For Volunteers: LPI-304 "Job Task Analysis" and IT360

Hello,

Last month, the Linux Professional Institute (LPI) issued a call for
volunteers to assist in the development of the latest exam in the
LPIC-3 series; the specialty is High Availability and Virtualization.
This will make the fourth exam in the LPIC-3 series (the 304 exam).

Part of this process involves a Job Task Analysis (JTA) survey to
determine the relative importance of various work activities related to
the Virtualization and High Availability specialty.

As a fellow Linux professional, I'm inviting you to help with this
process of determining exam weighting and finalize exam objectives for
the new exam.

The LPIC-304 JTA is available at:

    https://www.lpi.org/caf/Xamdev/jta

you will need to login using your LPI ID/registered e-mail address or
user name along with your password.

As an incentive for volunteers, LPI is offering exclusive prizes
to the first 15 participants to complete the JTA. An additional 10
prizes will be drawn from the list of participants at the close of the
survey. Sample prizes can be found here:

For more information on the Job Task Analysis surveys for LPIC exams
please see:

Any help you can provide is valuable. Taking the entire survey should
require about 1-2 hours of effort and does not have to be completed in
one pass.

Even if you cannot complete the entire exam, any votes on a portion of
the tasks is appreciated.

P.S. Please join me at IT360 on April 7, 2010 at the Metro Toronto
Convention Centre, Toronto, Canada! I will be hosting an information
booth and LPI's ever popular discounted exam labs! Special discounts
for conference registration are available to LPI community members.
This includes discounted exam pricing and other promotional offers.
For more information on the IT360 trade show and convention,
available discounts, exam labs and other activities please visit
     us at http://www.lpi.org/it360

Regards,
