Jeremiah,

I had though I spotted one a recent trip to MicroCenter (DTC) but it turns
out it was one of those split-keyboard ergo models (which I picked up to
replace my worn-out Dell keyboard).

I like the split-keyboard ergo layout and the built-in touchpad mouse works
fine as well. I drop you a note if I find distrib that carries Dvorak
keyboards.

That actually is made to be harder than really is. You are only editing
two text files. Granted one of them is REALLY important. The X server can
crash and can be killed at will. But the default keymap is important.
Does anyone have any experience switching these on the fly?

Let me know where I can find a dvorak keyboard, I'm interested in trying
one out.
