[CLUE-Tech] Java swing

I am just starting to use Java, and I want to use the Swing classes.
I would think what I need (I think it is swingall.jar) would be 
somewhere on one of the 6 CDs in Mandrake, but it seems
it isn't.  So do I need that 12 megabyte download from Sun?
The _documentation_ for swing is in this distro, so maybe it's
here in another form.

Can someone tell me how to get Swing installed so appletviewer
can live thorugh this header:

	import java.awt.*;
	import java.awt.event.*;
	import javax.swing.*;

It's that third line that it chokes on.
