[clue-tech] KDE question

When I recently added a program, I wanted to change the icon of the
program.  While I know where to go to find them, when I'm in the
share/icons area is acts like it's searching for all of the icons but
hangs. Then I have to kill the process and start new.

Question: how do I determine which icons are giving me trouble?

My first thought is to remove ALL of the icons and start adding them in
batch by batch (ten or so) until I find something wrong.  Does anyone
else have any other suggestions?
