John,
After you run netconfig, the changes should be in /etc/rc.d/rc.inet1.
This script is executed on startup.

As root:
$ pkgtool
Select the 'View Packages' option.
Scroll down to the PCMCIA services. Hit enter and you will see the
details of the package.
