The network setting are in the /etc/pcmcia/network.opts file.  If they are
not setup, they will not work.  Try "cardctl ident" to find out how your
card was recognized.  If it shows up and the description makes sense
(likely NE2000) then the card services version is fine.  If it is listed,
and the network settings are in that netword.opts file, it will work.

Many distros adjust the case statement in the network.opts file.  I
suggest changing it to all *'s rather than trying to figure out what to
fill in for "case $ADDRESS in" kind of statement.

You will have to let us know how the modem part works too.  My LinkSys
PCMCIA NIC is great under Linux.  However, the drivers were a pain under
Win 98.  The machine recognized the card, but refused to grab the driver
off the floppy.  It was so much easier to just have it in
/lib/modules/2.2.17/pcmcia .
