Can fdformat be made to overwrite every bit on a floppy? Or is there some other utility to do that? What if you wanted to wipe your entire physical hard disk? I know IBM offers a utility to do this for a hard drive, but you have to boot to DOS to run it. I'd like to be able to wipe my hard drive, partitions and all, from Linux.
