[CLUE-Tech] Security - Is this any good?

Well, it would seem to be a good idea if your employer insists on knowing,
tracking, logging, and reporting on every web site you visit during the
workday - from a general security standpoint, I would say it's not much
good, since the data from any HTTP site you visit still goes over the
Internet in the clear from that site to the SafeWeb system, but from the
standpoint of getting around "big brother" workplaces, I'd say it would be
decent.

I was in Seattle last week at a Microsoft bootcamp for ISA server, the new
Microsoft firewall, and at the end, there were presentations from partner
companies making plug-ins for ISA. This little librarian-type got up and
started extolling the virtues of their blocking/logging product and how it
limits company liability and raises employee productivity, and I was just
sickened. I got up and left. Something like this is great to stick it to
those types, because the most they can say is "you've been hitting this
safeweb site an awful lot..." rather than "you've been hitting site X and
that's a bad site".
