I don't know it this relates to the VFS problem.  My friend is trying to
get me started on CVS and last weekend we got CVS up and running and
added two users, but that's the only thing that I can think of which
relates to what I found below.

proc on /proc type proc (rw)
/dev/hda1 on /boot type ext2 (rw)
/dev/hdb1 on /home1 type ext2 (rw)
devpts on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,gid=5,mode=0620)
usbdevfs on /proc/bus/usb type usbdevfs (rw)

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
