[CLUE-Tech] VFS issue

Kevin, I think the "VFS: Disk change detected on device ide1(22,0)"
message is normal.  I suspect you have a CDROM drive on your ide1
channel.  Unless you've switched the ide channel order in the BIOS, 
this would correspond to drive hdc or hdd.  I would expect to see 
this message when you eject or change a CDROM.  

Run "tail -f /var/log/messages" in an xterm and fiddle with your 
CDROM to see if this is true.  Play with your floppy drive (fd) 
while your at it.  

One question though, are you being sure to unmount your floppy disks
and CDROMs before removing them from their drives?  If not, it might
explain the number of messages -- but I'm guessing at this point.
