[CLUE-Tech] Mandrake 8.0 or SuSE 7.1?

Linux is definitely geek friendly, but it has a way to go in the user
friendly department, but that's where I feel the clubs could come in.
After SuSE 7.1 I don't want to go back to M$ as all. I don't use
Windows any more, mostly because I don't want to. Windows ends up being
more hassle than SuSE 7.1. I would just like to learn how to make my
own SuSE that has a friendlier menu system and perhaps adjust the
permissions so that I can use the system more easily myself. I would
like to log into root the least amount possible.
