I'm having a pgp/kmail problem. I can sign my messages, but not encrypt
them, even when the person in the to: line is in my public keyring, and I
have indicated that the key is trusted. I'm also able to encrypt files
successfully in command line mode, which suggests that pgp is fine.

The error message claims there is a problem with either my pgp setup or
keyrings.

Ideas?

I'm running the mandrake 8.0 release of linux

I'm running kmail 1.2 (using kds 2.1.1)

I'm running pgp 6.5.8 downloaded and installed from the MIT server via rpm.
I have confirmed that pgp is installed in a directory in my $PATH, and I have
configured kmail to specifically look for a 6.x release of pgp (when I said
auto detect, I couldnt get signing to work either)

I imported my keyrings from the M$ side of my box, where the pgp version was
6.5.1 Displaying my keyrings in console mode suggest that everything is
there which I expect to be there, including especially the two public keys of
the email addresses which I attempted to encrypt messages to.
