[CLUE-Tech] dialup connection

Have a small problem.  I am dialing up using dial2net as root on a
Slackware box.  As long as I am root I can brouse the internet with
Netscape.  In my normal user account I have no access to the internet.
I tried to change the properties on the /dev/ttyS0 and /dev/modem (
which is just a link to ttyS0) but still nothing.  What permissions do I
need to change?  Thanks for the help.
