[CLUE-Tech] Birthday Present

They will give you the internal DSL ATM card from Intel by default, because it
is cheaper. Qwest sees the external Cisco as a SOHO or serious home user
choice. I don't think the internal Intel has a driver for linux, but I haven't
looked around too hard. I use the Cisco, and it works great, all your computer
knows is you have an ethernet connection to the world (albeit slower than
ethernet ;(

If your son has the Cisco, no problems at all. Setting up the Cisco in Point to
Point mode takes a bit of doing, but I don't suppose it is that hard. My ISP
uses the Cisco in Bridging mode, though, which couldn't be easier. Now, if your
son has the Intel internal, it may be a no go.
