Greetings,

For those of you interested in Python, Release 2.1 happened on 4/17:

http://www.python.org/2.1/index.html

Those of you running Red Hat V7.0 (which comes with Python V1.5x) can now
upgrade to the latest version, thanks to Sean Reifschneider of Tummy.com,
who provided Python & Development tools RPMs to make this possible:

http://www.python.org/2.1/rpms.html

(FYI - 2-3 weeks ago, RPMs for Python V2.0 were only available for RH V6.1.
There was also problem with RH V7.0 (GCC compiler?) release that prevented
Python from being compiled from source and installed.)

Thank you Sean for the RHV7.0 Python RPMs!

JimI.
