Kudos both to You, and your employer. I had a previous employer running
solely windows (and some IRIX, long story). He thought that linux was too
difficult, etc. It's odd, though, he never thought the price difference was a
reason to move. Oh, that's right, he STOLE 90 percent of his software! I
forgot! Silly me.

Which is why I write: Honestly now: How many companies (small, < 50 emps)
buy all their software? It' hard to believe that most people are completely
legit. A company I used to work for (gantos) was as legit as possible, but
DID get busted once for not enough win3.1 licences, but that was a larger
company. I find a huge problem with companies using pirated software, and I'm
wondering if other people feel the same way.

Heh, Heh...

Neat article on /. today re: the successful launch/service of a low-cost space
satellite built from off-the-shelf Radio Shack parts:

http://www.usna.com/WhatsNew/2001/Satellite.htm

Could be an all new niche for Radio Shack.. a new "home-built satellite system
division"! Who needs StarBand/Direct PC for satellite Internet service? Put
your very own low-cost 'bird' in the sky!

Which got me to think'in.. maybe some CLUE'bie gearheads can team-up with a few
C.R.A.S.H. members (Colorado Rocketry Association of Space Hobbyists):

http://jimintriglia.com/Leisure/Rockets/

. and work with some Martin Space division engineers/scientists, and put into
orbit Colorado's first low-cost, embedded-Linux-based satellite?

Bet that would make /.

;-^
