[CLUE-Tech] LILO on fragile flies

Hi!

So I'm that debian-guru-wannabe
trying to get debian up and running.

Current problem with LILO setup.
Error looks like:

LILO 21.7-5 boot: WIN
Loading WIN
1FA:

ok.
I *know* my conf file is incorrect. 
I do not know what it's suposed to look like
so here's my lilo.conf file (parts thereof):


other=/deb/hdb
   label=WIN


then a lilo -T table=/dev/hdb
shows at
1   FAT32  *  <snip> 
2  WIN extended  <snip>
3 <empty>
4 <empty>

so, theoretically, I reckon if I type
WIN at the Linux boot prompt, it would
allow me to bring up windows.
what preytell am I missing?

p.s. thanks for the help with the mouse,
it now works.  Had some silly ms3 option
that was messing it up before.
