[CLUE-Tech] Hancom Office - A Commercial KDE Application

For a spreadsheet I use gnumeric and have no problems with it other than
importing odd text files doesn't seem as clean as when I used Excel in
the past. I don't do anything complex so I don't know how well it
stacks up with other powerhouse spreadsheets.
I have heard that Kpresenter is an excellent replacement for Powerpoint.
I have absolutely no need for presentations at this time so I can't
give any first hand knowledge, but I think that it was at CLIQ last
spring where David Sifry the CTO of Linuxcare converted from PowerPoint
to Kpresenter after Kurt Granroth of KDE pointed it out to him.
Another thing that I'll point out is that Sun has announced that the
next version of StarOffice (6.0 I think) will load as seperate
components so you won't need to load the whole office suite every time
you want to edit a small document. I'm not sure if you'll be able to
install seperately, but I would think so.
