One thing to consider is what version of GLIB does Redhat and the version
of Debian use, some one can correct me on this but I don't think potato
uses GLIB-2.x, my guess is Redhat does, what about woody?
I ran into this when I tried to use mysql that was built on Slack-8.0,
error was I didn't have the right GLIB version on Potato, I haven't
tried since starting upgrade to woody.
