[CLUE-Tech] GCC versions

I think 2.95 is still the default compiler for Woody (that is what was
installed when I selected the C devel group).  In which case, all DEBS
you install are compiled with that compiler.  Thus, unless you want to
play with the new features and optimizations of 3.0, you could uninstall
that one.

Check which compiler /etc/alternatives/gcc points to -- that is the one
that is default.
