usb-storage is working fine; my usb-zip drive worked immediately when I
plugged it in ... showed up in /proc/scsi/scsi and accessible as
/dev/sdb (I already have a 'real' scsi /dev/sda) ... just need a way to
tell usb-storage to hook to the ATAPI-USB adapter :-(

Speed is not an issue; there are just a few files on the drive that I
would like to pull off ... The adapter only cost $10, so no big deal if
I can't make it fly; this is the first time I have tried anything USB
with linux.

aloha,
