Yeah, I'm trying to use that debian page to install linux on this bad
boy alpha 255, but I couldn't take the loud scsi hard sound anymore from
the barracuda that was in there, so I tried replacing it with a Fujitsu
4.5 gig scsi drive that I had laying around, and have everything
connected correctly, but the bios doesn't see the drive... I have tried
scsi id's of 0, 1, 2, and 3 with no success. Does anyone know if the
bios has a maximum drive size limit? Worse comes to worse, I could
always put the old one back in, but seriously, that noise gets to me big
time... if I was putting this thing in a closet somewhere, it wouldn't
be a problem, but sitting on my desktop, I gotta have some quiet!
