I wanted to throw in my deux cents:

One site I've been eyeing for some time now is http://www.micronux.com. They
are Linux-friendly and I just like their customization interface. I took a
look at unitedmicro and the prices aren't listed beside the radio buttons.
Caveat: I haven't ordered from them (yet). And of course, I'm not associated
with them in any way. I'm just saving the $$$ to order a nice Athlon system.

On a related note, what do you all do with your older boxes or components?
Are there shops around here that will give you credit? Do you take it to
some charity that will actually use the components or boxes?
