Dan, One other suggestion that does not get too much publicity -- SAP DB. + http://www.sapdb.org/ Although it started as a commerical application, it's now available under the GPL and LGPL. I haven't had a chance to play with it and I am not sure how it compares with Postgresql. I do know it has a good reputation. Later, Jeff
