I believe they do have some sort of term of service that you're supposed 
to be stuck with - but you should have 30 days to decide or something.

The punchline, though, is that apparently MSN can take up to 30 days or 
more to release your DSL line - so you may decide to sign up with XYZ 
provider instead of MSN, but it might take more than a month to actually 
be able to do so.
