This one is an ISA card? I always get the 3c509 and 3C59x confused.
If it is the ISA, I have one, and they are PnP ISA. I had a bear of a
time trying to get one working. I think I finally decided it needed
somekind of DOS configuration utility to set registers on the card in
order to get it to work.

You might check on Donald Becker site (the module author), for a utility
for configuring the card, he has written a lot of stuff for these cards.
