Matt,

You will probably need to run DNS on your network. The catch is that
DHCP would need to forward data to DNS. This is not within the current
DNS spec. Dave Hahn gave a presentation about DHCP some months ago. He
mentioned a few programs that synchronize data between DHCP and DNS.
