Sorry; it's a touchy subject for me. You'd be *amazed* at the number of
times I've seen "I'm setting something up for someone to do mass mailings,
but don't worry, it's opt-in," and when asked how they knew this, the
answer was typically along the lines of that's what they were told by the
person they were setting it up for. <sigh> Let the spamming begin....
So I'm glad that's not the case with you. :-)

Ah. Yea, I mailing list wouldn't do that without a lot of modifications.

No, sorry. I didn't know if you had considered a mailing list for doing
the mailings, since that's all I knew about from your posting. I was
simply trying to offer a solution that would take care of the "bottom line"
problem - that of sending out a lot of mail. Good luck with this project.
I'll definitely be watching this thread, because I would be interested in
knowing what the final solution turns out to be WRT the browser timing out
problem while it sends the mail.
