[CLUE-Tech] Access to ATT Cable systems?

Hi,

I am trying to set up remote access into an att broadband system.

The system appears to have ip address of: 12.254.89.67

I base this on observations of the router and logs of failed telnets
into my box ...

Oct 21 16:51:59 dbx tcplogd: telnet connection attempt from
12-254-89-67.client.attbi.com [12.254.89.67]
Oct 21 16:51:59 dbx in.telnetd[7691]: refused connect from
12-254-89-67.client.attbi.com


However, I cannnot traceroute or ping to this address - nor can I use
PC-Anywhere (the desired application) to connect to a host at this
address.

Do any of you have expereience withh attbi.com that might shed some
light on how to get this to work?
