Since I (intelligently, for once) made the changes as a user, the menu
changes are kept in the directory ~/.kde/share/applnk
Deleting this directory will restore the default menu listings.

Yup, it's right there. As many times as I've looked at that page, you'd
think I'd have seen it by now. Luckily, it wasn't a snake or I'd be
finding out who my friends really were. And, BTW, that remark does not
need a reply <g>.
