[CLUE-Tech] Real Time Clock and Power Resumes

There was a thread some mere days ago about someones RTC going balistic
whenever his/her notebook? went to sleep in Linux.

I just happened to notice that, at least in 2.4.18, under General
Setup->APM Bios Support there is an entry labeled, you guessed it, 'RTC
stores time in GMT'.

Can't recall if this was mentioned during the thread discussion, but it
may be the answer to someone's woes.
