Heh.  One of the FAQs is "can I burn <file>.iso.tmp to a CD"?  The 
answer, "why would you want to"?  I've had a reason and done it ;-)

I think not.  On the server side, a jigdo can be made to say there are 
several sources for the files, so the clients can find them all.  But 
even then I think it is a serial thing.  Sounds like there's only one 
guy running this thing so maybe it will happen someday.
OTOH, many of the mirrors seem to be able to max my DSL, so hitting more 
of them at once doesn't help.  And it's difficult to run a connection up 
to full capacity so I don't know how useful that really is.
