[CLUE-Tech] [OT] What are my broadband options?

This is a little off-topic, but thought someone might have a good pointer
for me.
I'm in the process of buying a house, and trying to figure out in advance
what kind of broadband access I might be able to get. I've been out of the
country since before broadband became available to US homes, so I don't know
all the options that are available.
The house is in Castle Pines North, between Castle Rock and south Denver
(I25 exit 188 - forgive this ex-NJ resident).
I called Qwest, and found out their DSL service is not available at this
house. (That's probably OK, I don't want a fixed-line phone anyway - would
rather just use the cell phone.)
I called Comcast cable - they may work, but it's unclear if the house is
wired to the "pole" (I can find this out later). I know the current owner
is using Dish Network satellite TV. Since I work for Echostar, I'd prefer
to get something without cable-TV service (I'll get the company deal for
Dish).
Are there any wireless options that far south of DTC? Any other wired
(CATV) services besides Comcast?
If it gets big-time expensive, I can deal with 56k at home, and broadband at
work.
Thanks,
Steve Casagrande
