[CLUE-Tech] Terminal Crash Madness!

Howdy Everyone.  I'm having a bit of a crash problem under RH 8.  Under
Gnome (2), I can pull up a terminal, but it usually locks up my video
after a few minutes (the length seems to differ wildly between each
time).  I can ssh into it from another box and restart X, but I have to
reboot to be able to switch vt's.  I'm not getting any information from
the logs that I can find.  Any ideas on how to track this down or fix
it?
