Hi Angelo,
See "man mkswap" and "man swapon" for full details. For the short
version, just set aside a partition such as /dev/hda5 and:
mkswap /dev/hda5
and then add an entry it to your /etc/fstab file:
/dev/hda5 swap swap defaults 0 0
and you're done.
