sudo, at least on my RedHat system, is configured using the sudoers file (man sudoer). The configuration is somewhere between a breeze and difficult, but it allows finer control that just changing your /etc/passwd file, and is probably recommended over giving out the root password. > Is there any way to give root privileges to another account?
