[CLUE-Tech] Setting a webspace for a school

I work at a private school in Cheyenne that has a web site. It was written in a hybrid manner, using partly raw text editing which you could do on emacs or any number of other programs, and a Windows beast called "Ixla". Web authoring is changing a lot. If you can learn PHP you're going to be ahead of the game, and also have something useful to teach the kids. I'm trying to find some good PHP resources myself, so if anyone here knows of some good ones, please do post them.
Our school really needs a couple more machines that we could install Linux on. A generous fellow from California sent us a big box of current distributions, but the machines we have at the moment are mostly too weak to take any good one. So if there is any way our school could obtain another box or two, that would be great.
Our school's web site is http://home.earthlink.net/~noahwebster
I'm a member of this list on my personal account. If you want to communicate with me directly at the school, that address is noahwebster at earthlink.net

I have a bunch of school related links down the right hand column of my
linux section on my home page at http://oriez.org, including the ones that
Jay mentioned.
Also, remember to ask for hardware if you need it. We'll be getting the
first batch of machines out the door at Polis on Friday. Then we'll be
finishing the lot we promised to Rita for RMS. Then we'll be looking for
other schools needing boxes.
We're having an installfest Saturday afternoon 1 PM, Academy for Christian
Learning, sw corner of Arapahoe and Colorado in Centennial.
