[CLUE-Tech] upgrading and downgrading redhat and fedora

Looking back, what I did (and said) about my "test"
upgrade was pretty dumb. I suspect if I had made a
"full" back up or some sort of snapshot of directories
like /etc just prior to upgrading FC2 I wouldn't be
having as many difficulties restoring.
