Hash: SHA1

I just received a email from a PGP keyserver. It was asking me to
verify my email address attached to my public key. At first I thought
is was some new phishing campaign, but it appears to be legit. This
is a part of the message sent to me:

~ You previously submitted the key shown above to the PGP public
~ keyserver. The PGP public keyserver is now being transitioned to
~ the new PGP Global Directory, and your key is one of those that
~ will be automatically transferred from the old keyserver. One of
~ the features of the new PGP Global Directory is that all email
~ addresses on the keys in the directory are verified.

This at least cleans out old key with old or fake email addresses. It
also allows someone to remove their own key. Their website for the
new server software is https://keyserver-beta.pgp.com/

Has anyone else received a "confirmation" email?

Dirk.
