Well, it depends on what you think the problem is... I have never taken 
apart an LCD before, but I have taken apart many laptops and done things 
like motherboard swaps, and that usually involves unplugging the lcd 
cable and plugging it back in.  It's amazing how fragile they can be. 
If you think it's a problem with the cable, I may be able to help you 
take it apart.  If it's the LCD itself, you'll probably need to find one 
on ebay and replace it.
