[CLUE-Tech] OT: Marathon for Mac/Linux

I have a long-time infatuation with the game Marathon by Bungie.  I am thinking of buying an older Mac to play on.  What level of machine do I need to play the Heck out of this game?  You know, passable frame-rate and all that?  Will this work?
