Which SPARC boxes do you have?  Netras? Ultra 5/10's?  I believe you can still download Linux for the SPARC from Sun.  Remember, a lot of Netras and Ultras didn't come with CD ROMs.  If these don't have CDs the only way to load them is from a network boot/install (AKA jump start).  I worked support lines for Sun so if I can be of any help let me know.
