[CLUE-Tech] Faster OpenOffice.org startup time

I finally got OOo to start up faster, so I'm going to share my
experience with anyone who wanted to do the same thing. I am using
Fedora 1, but it looks much easier on Debian (apt-get install ooqstart ?).

The OOo quick starter applet for Linux is at:
http://ooqstart.sourceforge.net/

However, if you use Fedora 1, you will notice that the old
libpanel-applet1 (from gnome-core) is required. I tried what I could to
find the source code for this particular .so but I couldn't find
anything for Fedora. (Note: it may work better on KDE.) So instead, I
simply used ooqstart without the panel applet. These are the basic
steps for using it with Gnome when the applet doesn't take:

1) Download the source
2) make ooqstart
    cp ./ooqstart /usr/bin
3) Go into Sessions (under Preferences) and make ooqstart as one of your
startup applications
Note: ooqstart requires an argument! It needs to know where your
soffice is located. For example my command line looks like this:

ooqstart /usr/lib/openoffice
