It's because he's a celebrity. Why do some people care what Drew Barrymore
thinks about Chilean poverty being equivalent to environmentalism. The
list goes on.

I do find it odd that someone as brilliant as Stallman is as far out there
as he is, but then I guess that reveals my biases (except of course that
from my point of view, I'm not biased).
