[clue-tech] Printer drivers

Greetings.

After reparing my xerox work center copier / laser printer, I decided to check 
if there are any Linux drivers for it.  I don't see my particular model.

Alas, this printer is no longer manufactured, but is in excellent working 
condition and Xerox still supports it [parts and tech support].

So, I'm wondering what others do when their printer isn't popular enough for 
someone to write a Linux driver for it?
