Fdisk says no such thing; that's your guess. Given that there are only 
two Linux partitions, and that it is common practice to have a small 
/boot and a large / partition, it's a reasonable guess. Still, when 
playing with partitions and boot parameters, my inclination is to make 
very sure of all relevant information.

'mount' and /etc/fstab should tell you what you need to know.
