[clue-tech] oprofile

Hello,

I am interested in running a set of system analysis
tools called oprofile. Does anyone know what is
required to be built into the kernel to run this
suite? I have heard that it requires SMP to be enabled
in the kernel even if using a single processor. I am
currently building a kernel with SMP enabled but the
kernel notes also said that the "Enhanced Real Time
Clock" needs to be enabled together with SMP. Does
anyone know where the Enhanced Real Time Clock option
can be enabled during kernel configuration? I tend to
use make gconfig....
