Hi Mike,

You've complete misunderstood a very important point.  GPL *is* GPL.
Period.  No one (Red Hat included) can "un-GPL" the kernel or any other
GPL'ed code by, for instance, linking in proprietary stuff or adding
some additional terms to their distribution license.  Go read the GPL:

and see for yourself.
