Here is my /etc/make.conf
# These settings were set by the catalyst build script that
automatically built this stage
# Please consult /etc/make.conf.example for a more detailed example
#CFLAGS="-O2 -march=i686 -pipe"

CXXFLAGS="${CFLAGS}"

.................
Gnumeric is now built and opening XLS files - thank you.

I am completely confused by the xorg.conf - X work pretty well, but
there is no /etc/X11/xorg.conf - only an example one...

I am trying to get my scroll-wheel to work, which should be easy, but
I keep breaking my X completely if I try to make changes to the
example and rename it as xorg.conf - is there another settings file
that is being used?
